KUSIKUY founder, Tamara Stenn, is a professor and academic researcher in Fair Trade.  After two years of extensive research with Andean Fair Trade producers she has developed several new tools to help make Fair Trade fairer and more sustainable.  One is the new year- round order system.

Stenn found that knitters (and all Fair Trade producers) are more dependent on knitting now than ever as climate change wrecks havoc with their agriculture production causing them to become more engaged with the wage labor market.   To help them to achieve a stable, sustainable, living, KUSIKUY is now offering easy, year-round monthly ordering. 

Below is our annual schedule of orders and delivery dates. 

Sweaters are hand knit with needles, take up to a week to make, and are knit at home by our skilled knitters.  There are no minimums and individual as well as wholesale orders are both welcome.
